Sibley Lake Campground sits directly on Sibley Lake along U.S. Highway 14, the Bighorn Scenic Byway, near Burgess Junction at roughly 7,900 feet in elevation. The campground has 25 sites split between an electric-hookup loop and a standard non-electric loop, making it the only campground in Bighorn National Forest that offers hookups at any of its sites. Because of its elevation, the campground is only open from mid-June through mid-September, closing well before the rest of the camping season at lower elevations. Guests can fish and view wildlife directly from the lakeshore, and the site connects to nearby hiking and biking trail networks in the surrounding forest. Reservations for a portion of the sites can be made through Recreation.gov or by calling the national recreation reservation line, while remaining sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
